Largest visitors' crowd of all times at the IAA Car: One million car fans at Frankfurt, Germany

One million visitors meant a new visitors high - never before so many automobile enthusiasts came to an IAA passenger cars. "We had the impression that all those people with their visit and with their particular positive attitude wanted to send a signal against pessimism and for faith towards the car", the VDA-pre-sident said. About 1.000 exhibitors from 42 countries presented the newest products of the automobile- and suppliers industry at the 60th IAA, taking place from 11th to 21st of September, 2003. "We were able to hit a through ball towards improving the automobile boom in 2004", said Prof. Gottschalk. The IAA conveyed a sense of setting up and that was an encouraging sign.
