During the year of 2003 in several steps within the company, new responsibilities for marketing and sales Viscose were built up. Already some years ago, the production of Viscose fibres / Danufil~(~R) within the Acordis group was concentrated at the Kelheim an der Donau, Germany, factory. There were good reasons as a modern and environmental supportive technology is available at Kehlheim, i.e. about 90% of the carbon bisulphide necessary for this process is being saved by recycling.
