IN 2013, U.S. TRAFFIC crashes cost employers $47.4 billion in direct crash- related expenses, which include medical care, liability, lost productivity, and property damage. Because 94 percent of car crashes are caused by human error, most of them are preventable. Risky driving behaviors are what kills people on the roadway and it is what costs employers a magnitude of undue expense.
