Fire safety education programme launched

Firebrake Wales has launched the new fire safety educational programme for Key Stage 2 with South Wales Fire and Rescue CFO Brian Fraser and the children of Ysgol Gynradd Casnewydd.rnFollowing the success of Tanni, the character that helps children seven and under learn about fire safety the fire and rescue services of Wales are now launching the next stage to their bilingual education programmes and materials funded by the Welsh Assembly Government.rnThe Key Stage 2 programme delivers a personal safety message which includes family escape plans, the importance of smoke alarms and how to stay safe from fire. This has been designed around the requirements of the Personal Social Education (PSE) framework for Wales and is funded by the Welsh Assembly Government.
