Working with Approved Document B and BS 9999:2008 in Fire Safety Design of Buildings

This course is designed to develop a wider understanding of building regulations and guidance documents and their interpretation within fire safety systems that promote life safety in the design of buildings. The course considers passive systems but also reviews active fire protection systems and highlights the importance of building design in ensuring business continuity. In addition, the interface between fire protection and security is discussed plus updates on the latest available technology are provided.
