US Economic data released last week showed that 132,000 new jobs were created in November, more than the forecast figure of 110,000. But unemployment rose 0.1% month on month to 4.5%. These figures could indicate that the hard landing many feared for the US economy might not occur after all - or that nasty numbers could be 'revised away' next month.
