Sir, Further to my earlier letter on the piracy issue (Fairplay, 11 September, p4, pictured right), events have unfolded in an alarming way in the Gulf of Aden to the extent that the outside world is rousing a bit, if recent statements by President [Sarkozy] are anything to go by.The situation has become worse and something must give.
