Delta returns to Gdansk after hiatus

In early July, Russian shipping company Delta Shipping Lines (DSL) resumed its connection with Poland's Gdansk Container Terminal (GCT), providing more evidence of the good fortune Polish ports are enjoying. Maciej Matczak, ports experts at Gdynia-based consultancy firm Actia Consulting/Actia Forum, told Fairplay: "GCT is a small terminal but the return of DSL means that this type of facility is still important for the market and shows that it is developing in the right direction."
