Telstra and Ericsson, have announced a 5G collaboration which they say will ensure that evolving industry standards reflect the needs of advanced mobile network operators. The announcement was made at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona (see previous article). nMike Wright, group managing director of networks, Telstra said: “While a 5G world is some time away, it is important to begin key foundational work now to help us to better understand this emerging new technology.
