摘要

Preiosu research has shown that a submerged biofilter is effective in removing organic matter and total organic nitrogen. Upflow and downflow biofilters were set up to investigate the different oxidative efficiencies on organic matter and ammonia Nitrogen of different biofilter positions and to compare the biological activities of the upflow and downflow patterns. A Comparison of the operational characteristics of he two types of biofilters is discussed.
