Isolating the trends

摘要

Isolator technology is now widely used for the aseptic processing of Pharmaceuticals. Gloveboxes were first developed during World War Ⅱ as part of the atomic weapons industry and development has continued within the nuclear power industry to the present day. Companies working in the field adapted the technology to create the first isolator systems from the late 1970s onwards and since then isolation technology has found many applications in pharmaceutical and healthcare manufacturing.
