Retail Forum gains new members

The Retail Forum saw three new members join, pledging to improve their environmental performance, at its meeting at the end of last week.rnThe three newcomers are Euro Coop representing consumer co-operatives in the EU, the Portuguese retail association APED and Italy's Confcommercio, whose members include not only retailers and wholesalers but also the tourist, transport and service sectors.rnTo join the Retail Forum, the three had to sign up to the Retail Environmental Action Programme (REAP) which includes the MAP (matrix of environmental action points), a series of environmental measures which companies and retail federations have committed to complete.
