Climate change policies 'eroding' competitiveness, say manufacturers

Manufacturers have today warned the UK's climate change policies are eroding any competitive advantage they enjoy over other countries by disproportionately pushing up the price of energy. The lack of a global agreement on climate change has left countries pursuing carbon reduction policies at different rates, even within the EU, manufacturers' organisation EEF argues.
