EPA Ready to Remove W.R. Grace Site In New Jersey From National Priorities List

The Environmental Protection Agency plans to remove the W.R. Grace & Co. Inc/Wayne Interim Storage superfund site in Wayne Township, N.J., from the National Priorities list. In a direct final rule published Aug. 20, EPA said it and the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection have determined that all appropriate response actions have been taken under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (77 Fed. Reg. 50,069).
