Low-carbon projects get £53M

The body tasked with developing low-carbon technologies and engineering solutions pumped more than £50M into projects last year. The Energy Technologies Institute (ETI) hopes the funding will help the UK meet its 2050 carbon reduction targets. In total, the ETI has provided funding of £53M for 15 projects in offshore wind, marine, transport, carbon capture and storage, energy storage and distribution and distributed energy.
