The US is planning a $5B increase in clean energy taxrncredits, as part of a push to spur green collar job growth and expand US renewables. The proposal, unveiled by Vice President Jo Biden, would extend existing tax breaks for manufacturers in the wind, geothermal and solar sectors in the US, raising the $2.3B cap on tax credits to $7.3B. "We need to do more to ensure that we make these products in America," said Biden.
