摘要

Much emphasis is placed on training staff at the beginning and mid-levels of their career to help them develqp and fulfil their potential. But when someone reaches a senior position, that training programme often slows down or even stops altogether. However, someone in a senior role is arguably more in need of professional guidance and development than those at an earlier stage in their profession because it is not just their career that is affected by their actions, but also the careers of the people in their workforce or department.
