Infrastructure projects for SA

Two new road tunnels, a tramway extension and a new bus/rail interchange were the key projects announced on 6 April in the long-awaited Building South Australia, the state's first Strategic Infrastructure Plan. An initial $215 million investment in transport infrastructure is the centrepiece of the plan, designed to guide development over the next 10 years. "The release of the Plan is the first major step forward in developing a more coordinated, efficient, sustainable and innovative approach to building our state," infrastructure minister Patrick Conlon said.
