Member survey provides basis for common ground

When we engaged engineers australia's membership on the issue of nuclear energy for Australia, we expected a degree of polarity. But we were not quite prepared for the degree of unity behind a number of strong messages. There were also several issues where the membership displayed a degree of anxiety and mixed feelings. In addition there were two themes where the same majority of the membership showed itself capable of simultaneously holding somewhat contradictory views - a situation which suggests the need for resolution.
