Organisations have been responding to thernchanging viewpoints and demands of consumers by introducing new ideas into their product development. Examples over the past few years include the introduction of dolphin friendly tuna fishing and increasing sales of organic food due to health concerns.rnA research piece done by the Carbon Trust in 2005 predicted that by 2010 climate change was likely to pose a significant risk to the brand value and reputation of certain sectors (airlines and food/beverages being the most affected) if appropriate action was not taken to plan for the potential changes in consumer opinions.
