Often in my career I have worked with leaders who were exhorting their people to raise the bar - only to find that their people didn't see the problems.rnThey only saw and experienced an unhappy leader who was hard to get along with. The company might have lost hundreds of millions of dollars or made no profit for a decade, but these economic figures didn't seem as significant as the perceived unreasonable demands of the leader.
