Photo prize for Newcastle engineer

This photo of Newcastle Ocean Baths, by senior systems engineer Sam Wong of Newcastle, was recently chosen as one of the best 11 photos worldwide in Scott Kelby's World Wide Photo Walk Competition.rnWong took the photo at a social photography event, where photographers from different regions walk a pre-determined path over a period of about two hours. The competition was held this year on 18 July. Worldwide, 27,000 photographers in 914 teams took part. From the photos taken of each city and town, the walk leader chose the best photo from their respective walk and submitted it to Kelby for judging.
