Supporting migrant engineers

In reference to the article about the incoming president (Engineers Australia November cover story), I felt happy to read about the proposed plans to support the migrant engineers.rnI came to this country as a skilled migrant around eight months ago with hope to use my 11 years experience as a civil construction engineer. I got my first job three months after I arrived at Australia Post as a postie. Now, I am still not working in my area of expertise. I presently work with Metro Trains Melbourne in the Customer Service Department.
