Allan Gordon Robertson 1916-2009

Allan "Robbie" Robertson, one of the most important engineers in Victoria whose projects continue tornplay a vital role in the daily lives of millions at citizens, died at the age of 93. He was a great community leader and will be remembered for his contribution to the Melbourne and Metropolitan Board of Works (MMBW) over 30 years as the project manager of the Upper Yarra Dam, the chief construction engineer and the engineer-in-chief. He will also be remembered for his involvement with community organisations.
