Hume Highway duplication complete

The duplication of the entire Hume Highway, connecting Sydney to Melbourne, is now complete with the final Holbrook bypass section officially opened last month. The entire duplication project has been under way for more than 50 years, and has cost billions of dollars to upgrade the road to dual carriageway standard.
