New technology for paper making

World-leading recycled paper mill technology has started up at the Amcor facilities in Botany, Sydney after the company spent $500 million on a plant upgrade.The $500 million investment was the largest single capital investment in Amcor's 144 year history.Amcor Australasia managing director Nigel Garrard said: "This is the most sophisticated recycled paper making machine in Australasia. It produces high-quality 100% recycled brown paper that is stronger, more consistent and has an improved colour for our customers."
