Hydraulic structures symposium

The 5th International Symposium on Hydraulic Structures (ISHS 2014) will take place from 25-27 June in Brisbane. The symposium is the flagship event of the Hydraulics Structures Technical Committee (HSTC) of the International Association of Hydro-Environment Research and Engineering (IAHR). ISHS 2014 will also be a joint speciality symposium with the 11th National Conference on Hydraulics in Civil Engineering (NCWE) of Engineers Australia. By holding a joint specialty symposium, it is intended that the ISHS 2014 will provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and expertise among the various research and applied communities on the broad subject area of hydraulic structures, embracing their traditional use in water resource development, as well as their role in improving water management practices, water quality and restoration of natural habitats.
