Continuous monitoring of production performance to initiate timely corrective and improvement actions is critical for the competitiveness of the company in the global and local markets. The main constrains to implement and sustain such system are the initial cost, flexibility (particularly during implementation) and extra time required for the busy production personnel to collect, analyse and present data in efficient manner.
