Construction of the physical fitness facility at Fort Carson will begin with the na-tatorium. The facility will eventually also include a fitness area, gymnasium, locker rooms, administrative areas, laundry room and storage spaces. Related work includes integration with fire alarm systems. The project is expected to pursue LEED certification, and is currently estimated at between $20 million and $30 million.
