The Foundation BoltTensioner is designed for use in wind-turbine construction. Bolts on the base of wind turbines are located very close to the tower structure and do not allow for bulky tensioning tools. The device's designers fashioned it to perform a minimum of 10,000 pressure cycles; it features both an over-stroke prevention device and a maximum stroke indicator. Options include a spring return, gear-driven nut run-down and single or twin connections.
