Caddell To Pay $2 Million To Settle Federal Fraud Charges

Caddell Construction Co. has agreed to pay a $2-million penalty to settle federal criminal fraud charges that it intentionally made false statements to the Dept. of Defense concerning Mountain Chief Management Services Inc., a small, economically disadvantaged firm with which Caddell worked on three military projects. The payment was scheduled to be made on Jan. 7.
