A Sustainability Benchmark in Alabama's Dunes

The Gulf State Park Enhancement Project was a multiyear effort to improve Gulf State Park located along Alabama's southern coast. The primary elements of the project included a rebuilt 350-room lodge, a new Learning Campus and an Interpretive Center, a restored dune system, and a 28-trail system expansion and enhancement-all constructed to the highest level of environmental and economic performance.
