The Methods of Forensic Delay Analysis

A forensic delay analysis should identify the activities that actually caused delay to the critical path and quantify the critical delay caused by each activity. This should be an objective endeavor, but consultants on opposing sides of a dispute will usually (always) arrive at different conclusions regarding the activities that caused delay and the amount of delay. Part of the difference is often in the selection of a method.
