摘要

Elastoplastic problems can be easily solved by conventional BEM with the use of domain integrals. However, the ordinary MRBEM, which does not require domain discretization, is not suitable for solving these problems because the distribution of initial stress or initial strain cannot be given analytically. This paper shows how to solve elastoplastic problems using an improved MRBEM without an internal cell. In this method, the distribution of initial stress is interpolated by using a boundary integral equation. A new computer program is developed and applied to several elastoplastic problems.
