With the introduction of the EM70 Series, EMCO can provide wedge sockets for traction ropes from 1 /4-inch (5-mm) to 7/8-inch (22-mm) diameters from stock.rnThere are five models available, depending on the rope diameter. The EM70 Series is designed for 1/4- to 5/16-inch or 5- to 8-mm diameter ropes. The EM 100 Series is designed for 3/8-inch or 9- to 10-mm diameter ropes. The EM200 Series is designed for 7/16- to 5/8-inch or 11- to 16-mm diameter ropes. The EM400 Series is designed for 11/16-to 3/4-inch or 17.5-to 19-mm diameter ropes and the EM500 Series is designed for 13/16-to 7/8-inch or 20- to 22-mm diameter ropes. They can also be provided with spring and bushing assemblies specifically designed for the tested load.
