摘要

This paper assesses the influence of the frequency-dependent characteristics of line and grounding models, along with the effect of the frequency dependence of the electrical parameters of soil, on developed lightning overvoltages in overhead lines. It is shown that in most cases the frequency dependence of soil parameters can be disregarded in the line model. On the other hand, the frequency-dependent characteristics of grounding markedly impacts the developed transient voltages, and in accurate studies a grounding static model should be avoided.
