This article describes an automatic-guided, battery powered wheelchair developed by Hyderabad Science Society for use by the physically handicapped, the visually handicapped, the convalescing and the aged.rnAs a spin-off of the automatic guided vehicle technology developed at the Hyderabad Science Society, an automatic-guided, battery powered wheelchair was developed which could be used by the physically handicapped, the visually handicapped, the convalescing and the aged.
