Rigorous analysis of scattering by partial height magnetised ferrite posts in rectangular waveguides

Multiple 3-D discontinuities between rectangular ferrite loaded waveguides are analysed. This analysis is carried out by means of the coupled mode method, using a series expansion that is different from the classical one, combined with the modal matching method. Reasonable agreement is found between theoretical predictions and experimental results.
