摘要

Despite the increasing importance of control systems software, its development is quite difficult. To facilitate programming of control system software, we are developing an adaptable and extensible OS. This OS is characterized by a microkernel and multiserver: each server runs in protected mode, can drive hardware, and is added/extended/deleted with ease. This OS structure facilitates programming. Large intertask messaging overhead is anticipated in this scheme, but our implementation demonstrated good efficiency and maintainability.
