Analysis of the partial discharge charge transfer in extruded power cables

摘要

The article discusses the dipole model for cavity discharges in extruded power cables whereby the charge measurable at the cable ends is well correlated with the charge flowing through the partial discharge defect, which is contrary to the apparentcharge concept based on the capacitive model.
