Atkins opens new office in Gurgaon as part of UK Prime Ministerial visit to India

British Prime Minister David Cameron has welcomed the opening of a new design centre on the outskirts of Delhi by Atkins, one of the world's leading design, engineering and project management consultancies. The centre will support worldwide infrastructure projects on which the Group is working. The announcement was made as the UK Prime Minister met Indian Government officials and high ranking business executives alongside a delegation including Atkins' CEO, Prof Dr Uwe Krueger, who is accompanying the UK trade mission. The design centre, located in Gurgaon in the state of Haryana, was officially inaugurated by UK Government Trade and Investment Minister Lord Green of Hurstpierpoint.
