Keeping a close eye on energy usage

A new energy management solution has been introduced by Marshall-Tufflex Energy Management (MTEM). The new holistic solution, dubbed Ipsis and powered by SenseLogix, monitors, controls, reduces and reports on electrical consumption down to socket and user level. This enables electrical equipment and information communication technology (ICT) to be individually managed by the same integrated energy management system. The combination of new legislation and rising power demands is heightening the need to reduce consumption and lower emissions. Ipsis is pre-integrated into a range of cable management products such as floor boxes and power poles, to allow an energy reduction system to be integrated into the infrastructure of a building from the outset.
