Wave goodbye to inefficiency

Penn Lloyd and Rutland Building, a section of the administration offices of Leicestershire County Council (LCC), are utilising the Wave, Illusion and Concido energy saving lumlnaires from Riegens Lighting. An analysis of the existing illumination showed that the installation of the Riegens luminaires would result in an estimated 62% saving in terms of energy and cost per annum. The Penn Lloyd building contained old style batten fittings using either one or two 65W lamps and the analysis figures showed the total electricity consumed per annum to be 120,549.39KWh. A change to Riegens semi-recessed Wave luminaires, which provide indirect/direct light using high output T5 2 x 24W lamps, produced a more uniform light level whilst using 50% less power than the old fittings. To keep a continuous
