A general election in Fiji is an unhur-ried affair. Voting started on August 25th and has continued all this week. It will take a little while to collect the ballot boxes from Fiji's 110 populated islands, and counting is not likely to start until September 3rd. The final result is expected four days later, although this may be an optimistic prediction.
