AT LAST. Three years after Spain's de-cade-long construction boom ended, Spain is finally nationalising some of its weakest lenders (having briefly seized two small savings banks earlier in the crisis). On September 30th the state took over three savings banks, or cajas, valuing their equity at close to zero. Banco cam was seized in July. Others could follow.
