Tokyo's Marunouchi business district comprises the neighborhoods of Marunouchi, Otemachi, and Yurakucho, which stretch across 120 hectares between the Imperial Palace to the west and Tokyo Station to the east. Mitsubishi Estate was the original developer of the district 125 years ago. And it owns and operates about one-third of the approximately 100 office buildings that stand there today.
