CONFERENCE REPORT: Third International Conference and Exhibition on Remote Sensing from Aircraft

Study of the Earth from space is impossible without preliminary testing of remote methods for sensing the environment form aircraft laboratories. The development of aircraft facilities for monitoring the underlying surface and the atmosphere is itself urgent and of practical importance, as can be seen from the results presented at the Third International Conference and Exhibition on Remote Sensing form Aircraft, Held in Copenhagen from 7-10 July 1997, which related to the integration of scientific And applied tasks for studies of the environment from specialized aircraft.
