The notion of innovation is endemically positive: there is no human, economic or social initiative that sooner or later, does not avail itself, if only at a rhetorical level, of this highly evocative image. Of course innovation is not always the same for everyone. On the contrary, each design and manufacturing sector possesses its own highly personal relationship of dependency and reciprocity. Some areas of research depend heavily on the presence of a factor of innovation in their schemes; others, and building is certainly one of these, tend to dilute it with tradition, mixing the specifics in varying amounts.
