After seven years of complex building works, the Museum of the City in Bologna has finally set an opening date: spring 2011. In the run-up to inauguration, the studio Mario Bellini Architect(s) (responsible for the museum's architectural and display design) and Italo Lupi (graphic design) have organised a dress rehearsal in three rooms of the historic Palazzo Pepoli. The installation's main feature is a series of large transparent and luminous glass containers (made by Meyvaert Italia) that hold the pieces, while large neon texts seem to float in midair.
