The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts is made up of the School of Architecture, the School of Design and the School of Conservation (KADK). The merging of the three schools in 2011 rendered the school's courses more dynamic and diverse and exposes students to dif-ferent disciplines. The school of Architecture has a rich history as Denmark's premier art and design institution, and its alumni are some of of the region's best architects. Today, the School of Architecture does not specialise in one particular area, but has a broad variety of choices, from sustainability and urban planning to advanced digital design and construction.
